IHU Black Coffee in DC RECAP

I’ve never seen so many people fill a venue so quick and in so little time. But then again, that’s Black Coffee IT WAS CRAZY!!
Last Saturday (July 9) the South African DJ/Producer, Black Coffe, stopped at Washington DC’s Sweet Spot. Party was hosted by “Ill House You w/ Oscar P & Friends”. I started my night at 8:30pm and while setting my Ableton gear, there were already 20 people waiting outside. I warmed out the crowd pretty well, followed by my boy Cortega taking the night over the top with Deep/Afro vibes. Just after midnight, BC started his set with this interesting acapella, followed by a drop of bass heavy beats making the crowd roar with madness.  The essence of his set was in its contrast of sweet vocals tracks accompanied by deep heavy grooves. Oscar P finished off the night with a bang.
